George Harrison and Ravi Shankar photographed by Clive Arrowsmith alongside family, friends and fellow musicians at Friar Park in Henley. Gathered beneath the sweeping branches of a cedar tree, the group forms a remarkable portrait of the community surrounding Harrison and Shankar, with George positioned apart at the edge of the composition. The relaxed expressions, traditional dress and extraordinary setting create an intimate record of friendship, music and shared cultural influences.
